OKLAHOMA CITY – The St. Gregory's University swim team completed its inaugural season this weekend with a trip to the NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championships at the Oklahoma City Community College Natatorium.

Highlighting the action for the Cavaliers was the 200 freestyle relay team. Garrett Thompson, Austin Cody, Mark Roselius and Jason Schroeder broke the school record by nearly two seconds Friday (1:28.65), earning a spot in the finals. The team couldn't better their mark, however, finishing 16th overall with a time of 1:29.04.

"We had an amazing conclusion to a fantastic inaugural season," said St. Gregory's coach Lyndsay Watts. "I am so proud of my team's effort throughout the year, and I know this experience was one we will most certainly build on."
