St. Gregory's swimming coach Lyndsay Watts recently announced the signing of Mike White. The well-traveled White was a state finalist both his sophomore and junior seasons in North Dakota before moving to West Virginia his senior year.

He finished seventh at state in the 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay in 2013 and 2014 – earning all-state honors for his efforts. White was a state runner-up in the 50, 100 and 200 butterfly at the 2014 North Dakota Short Course State Championships.

As a senior, he qualified for the Pitt Christmas Invitational at the University of Pittsburgh. His top events and times are in the 100 butterfly (55.11) and the 200 freestyle (1:55.61).
