EDMOND – The St. Gregory's cross country teams were back in action this weekend at the UCO Land Run in Edmond. The women's team finished 11th while the men's team came in ninth.

Leading the way for the second week in a row on the women's side was Alexis Gee. She came in 41st overall with a time of 20:36. Right on her heels was Sabrina DeSantiago, whose time of 20:38 was good for 42nd. Sophia Weisbruch posted a 22:44 (87th), and Heather Johnson was 96th at 23:25.

Rounding out the Cavalier women's competitors were Adriana Garza (24:33, 106th) and Shannah Daymude (24:54, 111th).

Blake Crouch was again tops on the men's side for the Cavaliers. His time of 22:04 was good for 40th overall. Jose Fonseca was 47th (22:23), and Robert Torres was 54th (22:43). Rounding out the men's side were Dustin Baxter (23:55, 84th) and Luis Lopez (24:00, 87th).

St. Gregory's takes a break before heading to Stillwater for the OSU Cowboy Jamboree. That event is scheduled for September 26.
