WICHITA, Kan. – St. Gregory's sophomore Sabrina DeSantiago booked her trip to nationals Sunday with an automatic qualifying time of 1:29:51 at the Prairie Fire Spring Half Marathon. DeSantiago was nine seconds clear of the "A" standard and finished sixth among female participants.

DeSantiago will join two other Cavalier half-marathon qualifiers at nationals. Alexis Gee turned in an automatic qualifying time of 1:29:42 December 4 at the Moundbuilder Half Marathon in Winfield, Kan. That was good for fourth in the female grouping. Blake Crouch earned a "B" standard at the same event with a time of 1:14:50. He finished fifth among male participants.

The NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships are set for May 26-28 in Gulf Shores, Ala.
