WEATHERFORD – Led by a stellar attacking night from Kelsi Schmidtberger, Southwestern Oklahoma State handled St. Gregory's in straight sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-21) Tuesday night at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.

Schmidtberger tied for team-high honors with 11 kills on a .688 hitting percentage (11-0-16) for the Bulldogs, who limited the Cavaliers to a .017 team attacking clip.

Ashlyn Broussard led the visitors with a 13-kill, 18-dig night – her 22nd double-double of the season. Sarah Ahrens posted a team-best 14 assists, while Kayley Davis chipped in with 16 digs.

SGU (19-11) returns to Sooner Athletic Conference play Friday at Wayland Baptist. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Plainview, Texas.
