OKLAHOMA CITY – Four St. Gregory's senior women's soccer players have earned All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors, the league announced Monday. Beth McHale was named to the first team, while Ruby Arani, Abi Housecroft and Araceli Flores garnered second-team recognition.

McHale, from Liverpool, England, has helped anchor the Cavalier back line in addition to turning in a breakout year as a free kick specialist. After entering the season with only one goal in 51 career games, McHale has exploded for six in 2016.

Arani, from Midwest City, has enjoyed perhaps her best season as a defender. So far this season, she has helped the Cavaliers record seven shutouts and allow only one goal five times. Arani has three assists, which is tied for her career high.

Housecroft, from Leeds, England, has come on strong as of late. She's netted seven goals over SGU's last six games for a team-best total of 13. Of her scores, six have been game-winners. That leads the conference and is eighth in the NAIA.

Flores, from Madill, set a new single-season career high with 12 goals this season. That total ranks sixth in the conference. In addition, she has added four assists – also a career mark. Flores' goal total now stands at a program-best 39.
