OKLAHOMA CITY – St. Gregory's Jena Flewelling has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. It is her second such honor this season.
Flewelling, a senior from Renton, Wash., nabbed four saves as SGU picked up its first SAC Tournament win in more than 10 years – a 2-1 victory over Oklahoma City.
For the season, Flewelling has three solo shutouts and four shared shutouts. She has tallied a team-leading 54 saves and boasts a .675 save percentage.
