SHERMAN, Tex.- The Cavaliers finished the invite in fourth on the day for men and fifth for the women, but Jason Schroeder (SR/Anthony, Kan.) (SR/Anthony, Kan.) shined bright as he finished first in the 100 yard butterfly, second in the 100 yard back stroke, and third in the 50 yard freestyle. Schroeder along with Jeff Trout, Austin Cody (SR/Norman, Okla.) (SR/Norman, Okla.), and Michael Heon (JR/Shawnee, Okla.) (JR/Shawnee, Okla.), finished third in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:44.52. In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Schroeder, Heon, Cody, and Charles Espinola (FR/Duncan, Okla.) (FR/Duncan, Okla.), finished in third with a time of 1:35.31.

Austin Cody also turned in a solid performance in the 100 yard breast stroke by finishing third. He also finished fourth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.29. 

Charles Espinola finished fourth in the 100 yard back stroke with a time of 58:83, and he finished fifth in the 100 yard butterfly. 

On the women's side Kaitlin Hampton finished fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (27.61), and she finished fourth in 100 yard freestyle (1:02.65). Madison York finished right behind Hampton in the 50 yard freestyle, in fifth place (27.99).

Kaelyn Carter finished in sixth for the 100 yard breast stroke (1:24.75), and seventh in the 100 yard butterfly (1:10.67).

Leslie Alvarez turned in a strong seventh place finish in the 200 yard freestyle (2:34.05). 

On Jan. 25, the Cavaliers will be in Shawnee, at the OBU-Tabor Tri-Meet at the RAWC pool.
