SHAWNEE- On Wednesday morning, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced it's selections for the SAC Academic All-Conference teams, and the Cavaliers have landed 4 student athletes on the team. The men's cross country team had Robert Torres (SR/Salinas, Calif.) selected as an Academic All-Conference team member. The women's team had three athletes selected to the team; Alexis McElvany, Sabrina DeSantiago, and Sophia Weisbruch. To be eligible for the SAC Academic All-Conference team, students must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA during the previous two semesters and are regulars (letter winners) on their respective team.
