Cross Country Lands Four Athletes on SAC Academic All-Conference Team

SHAWNEE- On Wednesday morning, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced it's selections for the SAC Academic All-Conference teams, and the Cavaliers have landed 4 student athletes on the team. The men's cross country team had Robert Torres selected as an Academic All-Conference team member. The women's team had three athletes selected to the team; Alexis McElvany (SR/Moore, Okla.), Sabrina DeSantiago (JR/Lubbock, Texas), and Sophia Weisbruch (SO/Temple, Texas). To be eligible for the SAC Academic All-Conference team, students must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA during the previous two semesters and are regulars (letter winners) on their respective team.
