JOHNSON CITY- Teresa Ambuul (FR/Colorado Springs, Colo.) competed in the women's 600 meter run on Friday at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, in Johnson City, Tenn. Ambuul was the fastest freshman that ran in the event, and she finished in 1:39.42. Women's track & field head coach, Alice Ross, said thst Teresa, " She ran well as a freshmen for a first time at the National level." Coach Ross continued saying that Ambuul," Went out harder then she has ever gone out" Coach Ross believes that Teresa Ambuul paves the way for the younger generations to come. " As she gains confidence and gains experience there is no telling what she is capable of." says Coach Ross.
