STILLWATER - St. Gregory's University cross country runner Monika Kalicinska led her team once again on Saturday at the Cowboy Jamboree. Kalicinska, a senior transfer from Poland, finished 24th out of 216 runners. She came in with a time of 19:49.76 on the 5,000-meter course.

"It was great for Monika to finish in the top 25, and Callie ran an outstanding race," said SGU coach Matt Aguero. "Overall, I expect the times will be much faster next week."

As a team, the Cavaliers didn't fair well, placing 25th out of 26 teams. SGU senior Callie Pacheco was second among SGU runners with a time of 22:56.32 followed by Felicia Kuse (23:01.67), Jazmin Gonzalez (24:33.40), Michaela Roe (29:38.76) and Sara Cuzick (37:35.27).

SGU returns to action October 6 at the OBU Bison Invitational in Shawnee.
