BETHANY, Okla.- The Cavaliers (22-12, 16-8 SAC) took two wins away from their double-header with Southwestern Christian University (11-36, 5-23 SAC) on Tuesday afternoon. The Cavs won both games 8-0 in 6 innings, and they are now just two games back of USAO in the SAC standings, with four conference games to go, for each team. 

Bryn Houlton (JR/Savanna, Okla.) picked up the win in game one, by going 5 innings allowing zero runs and only two hits. Chula Chavez (JR/Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) closed out the final inning for the Cavs and didn't allow a hit or a run. Kasady Uhr (SO/Yukon, Okla.) pitched four scoreless innings, to earn the game two win, and Bryn Houlton closed out the final two innings. 

Game one was scoreless until the Cavaliers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning, when Sammy Leisinger (SR/Little Axe, Okla.) scored on a wild pitch. The Cavs extended their lead to 3-0 in the fifth, before adding five more runs in the sixth to force the run-rule to come into play.

Jessica Nelson (JR/Lewisville, Texas) led the Cavs at the dish in game one, by going 1-3 with three RBI's. Lauren Miller (JR/Blanchard, Okla.), Morgan Lathan (FR/Purcell, OK), and Lexis Young (FR/Mustang, Okla.) each had one hit and one RBI a piece. Sutv Meely (SR/Tecumseh, Okla.), Crystal Pablo (SO/Gallup, N.M.), Sammy Leisinger, and Baylee Hughes (FR/Brighton, Ill.) each had one hit in the first game of the double-header as well.

The Cavs got on the board first with one run in the first and another in the second to take a 2-0 lead. St. Gregory's added 5 more runs in the fourth to take a 7-0, before adding the final insurance run in the top of the sixth, forcing the run-rule to come into play again. Sammy Leisinger had a huge game at the plate by going 4-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. Sutv Meely also had a big game by collecting three hits, one RBI, and she also scored one run. Lexis Young went 2-3 and she also drove in two runs. Jessica Nelson, Crystal Pablo, Lauren Miller, Ashli Hafford (JR/Blanchard, Okla.), and Bryanne Knox (SR/Dickson, Okla.) each had one base hit a piece in game two. 

The Cavs tak ethe field again on Friday, April 28, when they head to Fort Worth, Texas to take on Texas Wesleyan in a conference double-header, starting at 2 PM.
