SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - The St. Gregory's University women's soccer team was outshot 20-6 in a 6-0 loss at John Brown University Wednesday. The Golden Eagles controlled the game from the start, limiting SGU to only two shots in the first half.

JBU (8-3-1, 3-1-1 SAC), meanwhile, scored three goals in a four minute span to take a commanding lead just 18 minutes into the game. The advantage increased to 4-0 in the 74th minute on Cheyenne Padgett's game-high second goal. The Golden Eagles added two goals late in the game for the final margin.

Jessica Leiva had three shots, including one on goal, to lead the SGU attack. Cavalier keeper Jennifer Taber recorded a game-high seven saves.

SGU returns to action Friday at rival Oklahoma Baptist University. That game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
