SHAWNEE - The St. Gregory's University women's soccer team fought rival Oklahoma Baptist University to a draw in the first half but succumbed late in a 3-0 setback Friday at the OBU Soccer Complex.

The teams were deadlocked for more than 46 minutes before the Lady Bison got on the board via an Elisa Brito goal just moments into the second half. OBU received two more goals from Mackenzie Bruton midway through the second half to pull away in a contest the home team controlled on the offensive end. The Lady Bison held a 27-1 advantage on shots for the game.

Sophomore Emily Lee was able to boot the lone Cav shot on goal in the second half. SGU keeper Jennifer Taber upped her conference lead in saves, recording six on Friday.

The Cavs return to action Tuesday on Senior Day at Fr. Victor Roberts Field. Six seniors will be honored after a 1 p.m. game against Oklahoma City University.
