SHAWNEE - The MacArthur Street rivalry between St. Gregory's University and Oklahoma Baptist University certainly lived up to its billing on Friday in men's soccer action at the OBU Soccer Complex. In an intense game that featured 40 fouls and nine cards, OBU prevailed 2-1 on Tito Silva's game-winner in the 84th minute.

OBU's Matheus Costa found Silva for his second goal of the game, just sneaking by the defense and scoring past SGU keeper Brock Vorwald. The Cavs continued their trend of losing a contest in which they outshot their opponent. SGU outshot OBU 15-13, falling for the fifth consecutive game when that has happened. Four of the last five SGU-OBU men's soccer games have been decided by one goal.

The Bison got on the board in the 33rd minute after Silva converted a penalty kick after being fouled in the box. The Cavs responded early in the second half when Joel Petillon found Arturo Flores, who headed the ball into the left side to tie the score at one each.

Mark McGrath led the SGU attack with five shots while Flores and Alex Burton each had three. Vorwald recorded a game-high five saves.

The Cavaliers return to action Tuesday on Senior Day at Fr. Victor Roberts Field. Seven seniors will be honored before a 3 p.m. contest against Oklahoma City University.
