The Cavaliers traveled down the street Tuesday evening to take on the #10 ranked Bison in a conference volleyball match. The Cavs dropped the first two sets 25-16 and 25-18 and led much of the third set before succumbing 25-22.

"OBU is a strong team," said SGU coach Katrina English. "When you play strong teams, you must minimize your errors. We didn't do that enough and it cost us the match."

Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Joey Redwine who collected 8 kills and 15 assists for the match.  Tiphani Funk was just behind Redwine, collecting 7 kills of her own.

The Cavaliers will be back in action next Tuesday when they start a three-game homestand against John Brown University.
