SHAWNEE - St. Gregory's University senior runner Monika Kalicinska qualified for the NAIA National Meet and earned All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors Saturday with a fourth place finish at the SAC meet in Shawnee. Kalicinska turned in a time of 18:19 on the 5,000-meter course.

"I am excited to see how Monika does at the national meet," said SGU coach Matt Aguero. "Our women all had personal bests today, and I'm very pleased with where we finished considering we're a first-year program."

Felicia Kuse finished second among SGU runners with a time of 20:50, good for 35th place overall. She was followed by Callie Pacheco (20:54, 37th), Jazmin Gonzalez (21:51, 48th) and Michaela Roe (27:22, 60th). The Cavaliers finished sixth as a team with a total time of 1:49:16.

Kalicinska will head to the NAIA Championship Meet in Vancouver, Wash., on November 17.
