The Cavaliers played host to Wayland Baptist on Friday and Lubbock Christian on Saturday to close out the regular season.  The Cavs dropped both matches by identical scores of 0-3.

Friday night the Cavaliers played hard in each set, but were just unable to get on tip of the Pioneers, dropping the sets by the scores of 17-25; 22-25; and 18-25.  Kimmy Seiler led all Cavs with her 12 kills off of her team high 27 total attacks.

The Cavaliers wouldn't have much time to rest from Friday's match as they took on Lubbock Christian Saturday morning at 11:00am.  The Lady Chaps came into the match ranked #2 in the SAC conference, having only lost two games in the conference all season. The Cavs were not scared, however and played the match with a lot of emotion and pushed the visitors from west Texas in each set.

The Cavs lost the first set 26-28, the second set 17-25 and then the final set 20-25.  The Cavs had three different players with seven or more kills during the match, led by Freshman Joey Redwine's nine.  Senior Aminah Orozco finished the match with a team high 16 assists.

Prior the the match, the Cavaliers honored their two seniors, Kimmy Seiler and Aminah Orozco as they played in their final home match.

The two losses drop the Cavaliers season record to 12-14 and 2-10 in the SAC conference.  The Cavs are not done yet, however as they will play in the conference tournament this Friday at OBU.  The Cavaliers are projected to take on Wayland Baptist in the first round, however the schedule should be released later Monday afternoon.
