NORMAN – The St. Gregory's University men's track and field team didn't meet any qualifying standards but had an overall solid meet Saturday at the UCO Invitational in Norman.

Dontayveous Allen was fifth in the 600-meter run. Allen, a freshman from Longview, Texas, finished in 1:23.42, which was only .62 from a B standard. Freshman Anthony Watkins finished third in the 60-meter hurdles. His time of 8.64 was .24 from a B standard. Dawson Holt was .22m from a B standard in the high jump. He finished third in the event.

SGU returns to action next Saturday at the Missouri Southern State University Indoor Invitational in Joplin, Mo.
