LINCOLN, Neb. – St. Gregory's University senior Monika Kalicinska turned in a season-best time of 18:26.01 in the 5,000-meter run and met a "B" qualifying standard at the Nebraska Tune-Up meet in Lincoln on Friday. Her time was good enough for fifth place overall and was the first standard met on the women's team this season.

Kalicinska, who qualified for nationals in cross country last fall, was only a second short of meeting an automatic qualifying standard.

The NAIA Indoor Championship Meet is Feb. 28 in Geneva, Ohio.
