ARLINGTON, Texas – St. Gregory's freshman Domonique Criddle placed 13th in the discus throw, leading all Cavalier finishers Saturday at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational. Criddle, from Pearland, Texas, threw 36.38 meters in the event. No SGU athletes earned a national qualifying standard on the day.

Keerah Walton and Kelbie Taylor also had top 20 finishes. Walton, a freshman from Vallejo, Calif., was 15th in the shot put with a distance of 11.17 meters. Taylor, a freshman from Fairfax, finished 18th in the discus throw with a distance of 28.34 meters.

Criddle posted her second top 20 finish of the day – this time in the shot put – with a distance of 9.89 meters.

The team will travel down the road to the Oklahoma Baptist University Open on Saturday.
