SHAWNEE – Patrice Williams headlined a solid day for the St. Gregory's women's track and field team Saturday at the OBU Bison Invitational. Williams, a freshman from Houston, won the long jump event with a leap of 5.57 meters, which comfortably met a "B" national qualifying standard. She was .02 meters from hitting an automatic qualifying mark.

Williams' day didn't end there as she finished 11th in the 100-meter dash and 16th in the 200-meter dash.

The Cavs had four other top 10 finishers Saturday. Monika Kalicinska came in second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:26.61. Domonique Criddle threw the discus 36.28 meters for a sixth-place finish, and Keerah Walton placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 10.84 meters. Criddle also competed in the shot put, posting a 10th-place finish.

SGU returns to action April 20 at the Sooner Athletic Conference Classic, which will be hosted at Oklahoma Baptist University.
