SHAWNEE -- Anthony Watkins hit a "B" national qualifying standard Saturday at the Oklahoma Baptist Open, headlining several Cavalier athletes at the event. The sophomore from Kileen, Texas, came in at 14.91 in the 110-meter hurdles - the second time in as many years he's hit the mark in the event.

Freshman Austin Stone also had a solid finish, placing third in the shot put with a distance of 14.69 meters. Hosea Maritim, who qualified for indoor nationals in the 800, came in fourth in Saturday's event with a time of 1:57.05.

St. Gregory's returns to action next Saturday at the North Texas Classic in Denton, Texas.
