Lawton High School product Shannon Jordan has signed to swim collegiately at St. Gregory's University, head coach Lyndsay Watts recently announced. Jordan, a freestyle and backstroke specialist, was a state qualifier for Wolverines.

She finished 16th in the 100 backstroke this past season at the Class 6A state meet. Jordan also was named to the All-VYPE swimming team for Southwest Oklahoma in 2014.

"The most amazing swimming memory for me was the excitement our team had my junior year when our relay team qualified for state in our very last qualifying meet," Jordan said. "Everyone cheered so loudly!"
