ABILENE, Texas – The St. Gregory's women's swim team dropped a pair of contests Friday night at the UTPB-McMurry Tri-Meet inside the Phillips Family Center. The University of Texas-Permian Basin downed the Cavs, 148-7, and McMurry University posted a 124-21 win over SGU. The meet was scored as a double dual.

Highlights from the night included a fourth-place finish from Kaitlin Hampton in the 100-yard freestyle. She came in at 1:00.50. Hampton also finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle.

Erica Heon posted a top 5 finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.02. Ashley Haan earned a season-best time of 1:22.29 in the 100-yard freestyle – good for an eighth-place finish overall.

The Cavs return to action Saturday at the UTPB-Wayland Baptist Tri-Meet in Midland, Texas.
