2015-16 Men's Lacrosse Coaches

St. Gregory's hired Bryan Seaman in March 2014 to guide the Cavalier men's lacrosse team into its inaugural season in 2014-15. Seaman, originally from Peabody, Mass., has been playing and coaching lacrosse, from youth to college for the past sixteen years.

In his first year at the helm, Seaman led the Cavs to the LSA Division II championship game after a third-place finish in division play. SGU, which received votes at one point in the national poll, finished 6-7 overall in 2015. For his efforts, Seaman was named LSA DII Coach of the Year.

After graduating from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Seaman attended The Gunnery School in Washington, Conn., as a post-graduate student. He then attended Mount Ida College where he was team captain, majored in sports management and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Seaman was later hired as a strength and conditioning coach at Gridiron Training, as well as defensive coordinator at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, Mass.

Before coming to St. Gregory's, Seaman was a graduate assistant for two years and associate head coach for one season at Indiana Tech. There, he earned his master's degree in organizational leadership.

 
Kevin Mulvey Image

St. Gregory's hired Kevin Mulvey in March of 2014 as assistant coach for the inaugural Cavalier men's lacrosse season. Mulvey, originally from Peabody, Massachusetts, has been playing and coaching lacrosse for the last 10 years.

In his first year at SGU, Mulvey helped guide the Cavs to the LSA Division II championship game after a third-place finish in division play. SGU, which received votes at one point in the national poll, finished 6-7 overall in 2015.

After graduating from high school, Mulvey attended Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. As a member of the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse team, Mulvey earned all-conference honors twice, team MVP, and was selected as a participant of the NEILA East vs. West All-Star Game.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration while majoring in sports management, Mulvey was hired as the assistant head coach at Brookline High School. He was also defensive coordinator for the Big 3 Skulls travel team before being hired by St. Gregory's.
