SGU freshman Jerica Heyd looks to make an immediate impact on the women's track and field team in her first season of competition. She will compete in sprints in addition to the long jump and triple jump.

Heyd was a district champion and regional qualifier in the triple jump at Dumas High School. She finished district runner-up in the 100 her senior year.
