Araceli Flores has made quite the impact in her first season as a collegian. Through seven games, she led the Cavaliers in goals (6), shots (30) and shots on goal (14). Two of her scores were game-winners.

Flores was an All-State selection at Madill High School. She scored a school-record 17 goals her senior season for the Lady Wildcats and led MHS to its second consecutive postseason appearance. Flores was a four-time Golden Shoe winner, named team MVP and also was a member of the MHS track team.

Flores' brother, Arturo, plays for the SGU men's soccer team.
