TULSA – Anthony Robinson scored a career-high seven goals, and St. Gregory's snapped a two-game skid with a decisive 25-4 win Wednesday night over the University of Tulsa. The game was delayed for nearly an hour due to several tornado warnings in the area.

With the victory, the Cavaliers kept their stranglehold on the top spot in the Lone Star Alliance Division II North, improving their unblemished record within the division to 6-0.

Robinson, a sophomore from Edmond, tallied his fourth hat trick of the season and fifth of his career. He was efficient in doing it, converting seven of his eight shot attempts.

Robinson was one of four SGU players to record hat tricks. James Smith notched five goals and a career-high four assists. Chandler Peterson and Chris Lester each contributed three goals.

Matthew Hyde had two goals, three assists and 16 ground balls – the fifth time in six games he's recorded double-digit ground balls. Hyde was 16-for-19 in face-off opportunities.

Joe Brasher had a solid game in goal, turning away 11 of Tulsa's 15 on-target attempts.

The Cavs jumped out to an 8-1 lead after one quarter of play. Robinson, who had a pair of scores in the opening 15 minutes, opened the second with two more goals – the final one off an assist from Sean McCollough. SGU increased its lead to 14-3 at intermission.

The second half was all Cavs as well. The visitors outscored Tulsa, 11-1, over the final 30 minutes of play. Eight different SGU players found the scoring column in the second half.

The Cavs outshot the Golden Hurricane, 55-18, and had a decided edge in ground balls at 55-20.

St. Gregory's (10-4) returns to action Saturday at Clarke University. Opening face-off is set for 11 a.m. in Dubuque, Iowa.
