Bethel College was the first opponent for the Cavaliers on the day and it was the longest match of the weekend, as it took five sets to decide the match. The Cavs won the first set 25-20, but then would fall behind as Bethel would take sets three and four by the scores of 19-25 and 25-27. The Cavs would not fold and fought back, winning the fourth set 25-17 and then won the deciding set of the match by the score of 17-15.
The last game of the tournament for the Cavaliers was against St. Mary's College. St. Gregory's came out strong, taking the first two sets by the scores of 25-18 and 25-17.
